Terms of service
The short version: you pay nothing up front, £20 a month once your site is live, and your domain and content stay yours. The detail is below.

What you are buying
We design, build and launch a website for your business, then host, maintain and support it for a monthly fee of £20 including any applicable tax. There is no setup fee and no deposit.
The free plan
Our free plan is a single page website that we design, write, host and secure at no cost to you. It is published on a web address we provide rather than on your own domain, and it does not include extra pages, search engine optimisation work or ongoing content changes. There is no card required and no charge at any point. We may contact you about the paid plan, and you are free to say no and keep the free page. If we ever need to withdraw or change the free plan we will give you reasonable notice and offer you a copy of your page.
When payment starts
Nothing is payable until your website is finished, approved by you and live. The first monthly payment is taken after launch and monthly from then on.
Our thirty day money back guarantee
If you tell us within thirty days of your site going live that you want to stop, we refund every payment you have made to us in full. You do not need to give a reason. Ask by email or phone and we will process the refund to the account you paid from.
What the monthly fee includes
Hosting, an SSL certificate, backups, security and software updates, and reasonable content changes such as updating prices, opening hours, photos or service descriptions. Work beyond that, for example a new set of pages, an online shop or an advertising campaign, is quoted separately and only begins once you have agreed the price in writing.
What we need from you
To build your site we need the information and materials we ask for at the start, and your feedback on the draft within a reasonable time. If a project goes quiet for a long period we may pause it and pick it back up when you are ready.
Ownership
Your domain name, your content, your images and your brand belong to you throughout and after our work together. The underlying code and any templates or tools we use to build sites remain ours.
Cancelling
There is no minimum term and no notice period. You can cancel your monthly service at any time by telling us, and we will not bill you again after that. On cancellation, hosting and support end, your domain is released to you or your new provider, and we hand over a copy of your site content and pages so you can take it elsewhere. Payments already made for months you have used are not refunded, except under the thirty day guarantee above.
What we cannot promise
We build sites to rank and convert, and we are good at it, but nobody can guarantee a specific position in Google or a specific number of enquiries. Anyone who does is guessing. We will always give you an honest view of what is realistic.
Liability
We take reasonable care to keep your site online, secure and backed up. We are not liable for losses caused by events outside our control, such as a hosting provider outage, a domain registrar issue or a change to a third party platform.
