The site comes first. Advertising traffic to a page that loads slowly or hides your phone number just means paying to lose people faster.
SEO comes second, because it compounds. It is slow to start and cheap to keep, and the work done at build time costs nothing extra.
Advertising comes last, when the site converts and you want the phone ringing this month rather than next quarter. Plenty of clients never need this third part, and we will say so.

What the £20 actually covers.
The monthly fee covers your website and everything needed to keep it working. If you are still weighing up quotes, our guide to what a small business website should cost breaks down the numbers. We also build for specific trades: plumbers, electricians, barbers and salons, cleaning companies and beauty and aesthetics. Ad budgets and larger campaigns are quoted separately and agreed in writing first.

Changes and support

Yes, and plenty of clients do. The on page SEO foundations are built in either way because leaving them out would be daft. The bigger SEO and advertising work is there when you want it, not something we push on you.
For local searches you can sometimes see movement within a few weeks, particularly if your Google Business Profile has been neglected. For anything competitive, think three to six months. Anyone promising page one in a fortnight is guessing or lying.
